2-25-26   THOUGHTS

We read some noted words from one of the books of wisdom this morning.  What is better than for us to be happy and do good?  To work and be fulfilled in our labors is a wonderful thing.  All of God’s creation and works should cause us to give Him all reverence!  There will be a day of accounting!  Thank You, Father, for Your grace, mercy and love in Jesus.

Eccl 3:11-15    He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12  I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13  That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil— this is the gift of God. 14  I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. 15  Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account.

Our Prayer:
You are an Awesome God to be praised and honored and lifted up. O Father, may our reverence for You increase and abound.  Draw us nearer to Yourself as we seek You with our all.  May we know the blessed joy and fulfillment of supplying our talents  and gifts to the blood bought Church.  Help us to think eternally and spiritually as we live our lives.  It’s in Jesus that we pray,  Amen.
